FastTrack Privacy Policy

Overview
FastTrack is a macOS menu bar utility for selection translation and local clipboard management.
Data We Collect
FastTrack does not collect personal data on our servers. The app does not require account registration and does not upload clipboard history, selected text, or translation results to a developer-operated backend service.
Data Processed on Device
- Text you actively select for translation
- Clipboard text and images that you copy, when clipboard capture is enabled
- Local app preferences and purchase status needed to unlock features
This data is processed locally on your device and is used only to provide the app's features.
Permissions
- Accessibility: used to read text that you actively select in another app when you trigger translation
- Automation / Apple Events: used only to communicate with Apple's Shortcuts Events process so the app can run its built-in system translation shortcut
Purchases
The Mac App Store version offers a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase to unlock unlimited translations and all clipboard pinned slots. Purchase processing is handled by Apple through the App Store.
Third-Party Services
FastTrack does not rely on third-party online translation APIs for its core translation workflow. Translation uses macOS system capabilities.
Data Retention and Control
Clipboard history stored by FastTrack remains on your device unless you delete it.
- Disable clipboard capture
- Clear unlocked clipboard history
- Remove individual clipboard entries
- Uninstall the app to remove its local data, subject to any remaining files in your user library
Children's Privacy
FastTrack is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL with a new effective date.
